June 28, 2021 — ITS Applications Training is thrilled to announce a new ITS Applications Training Resource Hub. This new hub will be a one-stop shop for all the resources covered in the ITS Applications training and includes other useful links and guides.

June 23, 2021 — Schedule-building training is coming soon, and we want to make sure that your department is prepared. If you have a new schedule builder who needs training, please note that a request for access must be submitted and approved by the Office of the Registrar prior to registering for the training.

June 4, 2021 — The Human Resources Total Rewards team is reminding staff and faculty that the deadline for fall 2021 Tuition Assistance applications is Thursday, July 1.

June 1, 2021 — All employees will need to login to myTraining and complete the “Drug Free Workplace” online training module by Sept.1, 2021.

June 1, 2021 — Employees enrolled in 2021 coverage through the State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) can earn a premium discount worth $480 annually, and HSA/HRA rewards dollars up to $500 per year for each employee and covered spouse, by participating and logging healthy activities throughout the year.

May 26, 2021 — Effective May 29, 2021, State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) medical benefits will cover COVID-19 related services according to the regular provisions of an employee's medical coverage.

May 25, 2021 — Cash-handling training is available for all employees handling cash on behalf of the university. If you are a new employee or an employee who needs a refresher, it is highly recommended you take this course. This online training has been made available from the Office of Financial Operations and Business Technology and can be accessed by logging on to the myWSU portal and clicking on the myTraining link under the Employee Training, Resources & Professional Development section. May 20, 2021 — Requests for 146 working titles were submitted by the May 14 deadline and have been reviewed.  Of the 146 requests, 125 were supported by HR, a few with minor edits for titling consistency or to provide more clarity. The remaining 21 requests will be sent to the divisional officer for review as they fell outside the guidelines established for a working title. Any requests for a working title submitted after the deadline will be processed when the systems transitions are complete in August.
