Blackout mental health stigma with Suspenders4Hope at the Shocker men’s basketball game at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11 in Charles Koch Arena

Suspenders4Hope shirts will be given out to the first 1,000 attendees, and those who already have a Suspenders4Hope shirt are encouraged to wear theirs. In support of the cause, 5% of all proceeds from the Shocker Store sales in Koch Arena on game day will be donated.

Students can get tickets at no additional charge with their Shocker ID. Tickets can be purchased for the game by calling the Shocker Ticket Office at 316-978-3267 or on the online ticket office.

Arrive early to the Shocker men’s basketball game against UTSA at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 to learn all the popular cheers and chants featured at Shocker games. Shock Block student leaders, cheer, dance and the WSU pep band will teach students the Alma Mater, Fight Song and other popular Shocker cheers. Pizza and Shocker shirts will be provided while supplies last. Arrive by 5 p.m. to Charles Koch Arena and enter through the ticket office. WSU students can receive a ticket at no additional charge with their Shocker ID.

Thursday Jan. 25 is Student Night at the Shocker women’s basketball game. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for students, and pizza and T-shirts will be available for students at no additional charge, a prize drawing and the opportunity to learn all the traditions and cheers of Shocker basketball.

Support Shocker women’s basketball as they face off against UAB, and tickets are available for all students at no additional charge thanks to the Student Government Association.

Shocker track & field hosts its final home event of the 2024 indoor track and field season. The Wilson invitational will be hosted in the Heskett Center from Thursday, Jan. 25 to Saturday, Jan. 27.

Thursday’s events will begin at 12:30 p.m., Friday’s events will begin at noon and Saturday’s field events will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the running events beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Admission is available Thursday and Friday at no additional charge, and Saturday admission is $5 or no additional charge for children three and under. Students with a Shocker ID get admission to all Shocker home events at no additional charge.

The Shocker men’s basketball team welcome in some familiar faces when it plays against Memphis at noon Sunday, Jan. 14 in Charles Koch Arena.

Tickets can be picked up at the Koch Arena ticket office, Shocker Hall, Shocker Suites, Heskett Center, WSU south and west campuses, or either the Braeburn Square or Rhatigan Student Center Shocker Store.

Watch Shocker women’s basketball take on Oral Roberts University at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 in Charles Koch Arena during international students night and ugly sweaters night.

Donate two canned food items and receive a general admission ticket to the game.

Wichita State silenced a raucous sell-out crowd, sweeping UTEP 25-14, 25-22, 25-22 to claim the NIVC championship and the program’s first national postseason title.

The Shockers (26-8) dominated the match virtually from start to finish, trailing just 1-0 in the first set and by just three points in the second on their way to another sweep. Wichita State dropped only one total set in the entire tournament, sweeping four of five matches on their way to the title.
