WuShock poses with Shocker fans for photo at Shocker Caravan event in Overland Park

Shocker Athletics continues its partnership with the WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement for the Shocker Summer Caravan this July 15 and 25.

Director of Athletics Kevin Saal will join members of Wichita State’s coaching staff for events in Overland Park and Wichita. The events are open to the public and will feature an official program with the opportunity to interact with coaches, student-athletes and WSU and Shocker Athletics staff. Fans in attendance will also be able to win door prizes, take photos with special guests and shop Shocker apparel.

  • Kansas City: July 15 at Overland Park Chicken N Pickle (5901 W. 135th St., Overland Park) – Doors open 5:30 p.m. Program begins 6 p.m. – RSVP to the event.
  • Wichita: July 25 at Wichita Chicken N Pickle (1240 N Greenwich Rd.) – Doors open 5:30 p.m. Program begins 6 p.m. – RSVP to the event.
Elsewhere Festival Partners with Shocker Basketball

Wichita State men’s and women’s basketball are partnering with the Elsewhere Fest & Conference to provide a one-day, youth basketball camp from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22 in Charles Koch Arena for children of Elsewhere Fest ticket purchasers.

It will feature educational programming covering the importance of fitness and wellness, basketball skill development and competitive game circuits, and the opportunity for photos and autographs with the teams.

This year’s Plains Regional Regatta came to a thrilling conclusion for Shocker Rowing — an event filled with incredible performances from all of our participating rowers.

Shocker Rowing thanks the community for all their support.

Shocker Rowing invites all students interested in joining the team to attend its upcoming interest meeting. No experience is necessary. The meeting will happen at 5 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Shocker Rowing Boathouse downtown, 150 N McLean Boulevard.

The 2024 American Athletic Conference Softball Championship is being hosted by Wichita State Softball at Wilkins Stadium, May 8-11. The Shockers will be playing for an NCAA Tournament berth and are looking for a home-field advantage from the Shocker Faithful to help propel them into the postseason.

The Shockers will take on UTSA in the first round of the tournament at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 8.

All-session and single-session tickets are available for purchase now.

Meet Week, Shocker Open, Cessna Stadium, Wichita,KS

Shocker track and field will host Senior Day starting at 1:30 p.m. Friday May 3 at Cessna Stadium.

Field events begin at 1:30 p.m., and senior recognition is at 5 p.m. with running events to follow.

Students can get admission at no additional charge with their Shocker ID thanks to the Student Government Association.

Campus study break day. May 3 | 6 p.m. vs Memphis. Pregame tailgate and free pizza for all students in right field

Shocker softball will host a campus study break tailgate at the home softball game against Memphis at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3 in Wilkins Stadium. There will be free pizza, yard games and a post game firework show.

The tailgate will begin at at 5 p.m. and take place behind right field.

Shocker baseball will face Tulane April 26 though 28 at Eck Stadium, and each day is a special event for fans:

  • Friday night is for the kids. All kids wearing their Youth League uniform receive admission to the game at no additional charge, and additional family and friends can purchase tickets for only $5.
  • It’s Bark in the Park at Eck Stadium Saturday, April 27. Bring your dog and enjoy the game from Coleman Hill. First pitch is at 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 28 is National Superhero Day at Eck Stadium. Shocker baseball supports local heroes with admission for all military, police, fire, EMS and health care workers at no additional charge. Kids can receive a WuShock superhero coloring book before the game and run the bases after the game. First pitch is at 1 p.m.
