Lot 2W, west of Charles Koch Arena, will be closed for school bus parking only Wednesday, Nov. 8 for the USD 259 Education Day at the Shocker women’s basketball game. All vehicles need to be removed from the lot the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The purpose of the lot reservations is to help accommodate large group of guests visiting campus for events or the event itself. Lot reservations are not to be used for WSU affiliates. Remember, visitors to campus can park without an ePermit up to three times each semester.

Red reserved and ADA stalls are not subject to lot closures and proper use is permitted during this time.

For the Monday, Nov. 6 Shocker men’s basketball game, a number of lots in the vicinity of Charles Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking beginning at 3:30 p.m. During this time, signage will be in place alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars by 3:30 p.m. Any unauthorized parking in a game day lot carries a $50 citation fine.

Due to events at Woolsey Hall, there will be partial lot closures every day during the week of Monday, Nov. 6 in Lot 41 near Woolsey Hall. Faculty and staff that typically park in this lot will need to park in other yellow lots in the area of the building if the lot is full. The YMCA lot is not available for faculty staff or event guest parking and could result in a citation.

For Sunday’s Shocker men’s basketball game, a number of lots in the vicinity of Charles Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. During this time, signage will be in place alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars by 10 a.m. Any unauthorized parking in a game day lot carries a $50 citation fine.

Due to Tornado Alley Press’ Steamroller Event Friday, Oct. 27, a portion of Wushock Drive, between Fairmount Street and N. Isley Lane, will be closed shortly before 3 p.m. and will open back up around 7 p.m.

The sidewalk on the north side of Ablah Library will be closed the morning of Monday, Oct. 23 for an equipment delivery.

The sidewalk will be closed from Lot 13 on the east of Ablah Library to the northwest corner of Ablah Library. Cones and caution tape will be up for the duration of the delivery, and pedestrians are encouraged to walk around to the north side of Grace Wilkie Hall.

There will be temporary road closures along the north end of campus from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 for the Pumpkin Run. Most campus building and parking lots will be accessible from the entrances off 17th Street.

Vehicles parked in the Shocker Hall loading zone, Lot 8 and Lot 14 will not be allowed to leave the lots during the run for runner safety. Individuals and residents in these lots need to move their vehicles from these areas if they need to leave during that timeframe.

Lot 4 (The Flats) will be accessible through the south entrance of the Steve Clark YMCA parking lot. During the morning of the Pumpkin Run, please do not move any barricades or cones blocking a parking lot entrance.

Lot 20, west of Wilner Auditorium, will be closed from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 for the 50-year Golden Graduate President’s Welcome Reception. All vehicles will need to be out of the lot prior to 4 p.m.

Lot 41, outside Woolsey Hall, will also be closed Thursday, Oct. 5 all day for multiple events at Woolsey.

Stalls that are normally open parking for faculty, staff and/or students in these lots are reserved for the visitors attending each of the events at the times designated, these do not include individual or department reserved stalls or handicap stalls within the event lots.

For WSU men’s basketball games, lots in the vicinity of Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking three hours before game time. On those occasions, signage will be in place the day of the game alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars at this time.
