The Aftershocks have advanced to play in the 2023 TBT quarterfinal round for the third-consecutive season. The team will face Team Heartfire at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 in Charles Koch Arena. Tickets for the game start at $5.

Shocker volleyball is almost a month away, which means it’s time for Shockers to get their 2023 season tickets. And faculty and staff are eligible for a discounted price.

For only $55, faculty and staff can receive a ticket to all 13 matches. Support the Shocker volleyball team and bring energy to Koch Arena all year long by purchasing season tickets.

The Basketball Tournament (TBT) released its bracket for the 2023 edition of the tournament, revealing the Aftershocks’ potential path to the $1 million, winner-take-all prize.

The Aftershocks are set to host the B1 Ballers in the opening round at 8 p.m. July 20 at Charles Koch Arena.

Other university alumni teams coming to Wichita for the tournament include the University of Kansas, Kansas State, Arkansas, Missouri and more.

Shocker Athletics’ first annual “Say ‘Hey’ and Signatures” event is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 in Charles Koch Arena. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Visit Koch Arena to meet new head coaches Paul Mills and Terry Nooner and snag an autograph from the Shocker basketball student athletes. Two lucky fans that attend the event will also win a pair of 2023-24 season tickets.

This event is available to the community at no additional charge. Sharpies & commemorative autograph sheets will be provided.

A veteran leader with nine seasons of head coaching experience, Brian Green was named the fifth head coach in the modern era of Wichita State baseball, Kevin Saal, director of athletics, announced June 5.

Shocker Athletics will introduce Coach Green at a press conference at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 in the home locker room at Eck Stadium. The event is open to the public and will be streamed live on ESPN+. Those attending can enter through the baseball offices located on the west side of the facility.

The Shocker men’s track & field team repeated as American Athletic Conference outdoor team champions.

The Shocker men overcame a projected 38-point deficit to Houston on the final day of competition to claim their second-straight AAC outdoor championship team title with 154 points, beating the Cougars by just two points.

Students receive admission to all Shocker Athletics home games with a Shocker ID at no additional charge, and faculty and staff receive admission to Friday baseball home games at no additional charge.

Shocker baseball plays Oral Roberts in an upcoming game at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 9 in Eck Stadium.

Additionally, it’s Educators Appreciation Night, and all educators receive admission to the game at no additional charge.

Students receive admission to all Shocker Athletics home games with a Shocker ID at no additional charge.

For the 13th time, the Shocker men’s bowling team brought home a national championship, and Paige Wagner of the women’s bowling team won the singles national championship. The women’s Shocker bowling team also took home third place in the championship.

The finals took place on April 22, with the singles championships airing on April 25 and May 2. The women’s team championship finals will air 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 9 and the men’s team championship finals will air 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 16.

The Shocker bowling teams now have 23 national championships under their belts.
