For the Craig W. Barton Speaker Series on Thursday, March 30 at Wiedemann Hall, all of lot 16N, the lot directly west of the Duerksen Fine Arts Center, will be reserved. Anyone still parked will need to move out of the lot by 3 p.m., with an exception made for those with reserved stalls.

Most of lots 5 and 19W near Eck Stadium will be closed for an event on Friday, March 24.

Parking lots at Woolsey Hall and Ablah Library will have limited availability throughout the week. ADA spaces are always open outside of lot reservations.

Woolsey Hall’s parking lot, lot 41, will be closed Tuesday. The lot will also be closed Wednesday and Thursday mornings for multiple events, but it will reopen for faculty, staff and visitors in the afternoon.

A portion of the parking lot east of Ablah Library, lot 13, will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for visitors attending a symposium at Woolsey Hall.

The March 2023 Food For Fines will take place Tuesday, March 7 through Friday, March 10. Food for Fines is an initiative to support the Shocker Support Locker while providing a cheaper alternative to pay parking citations. Note that donations can only be accepted during the donation period.

All donations for Food for Fines must be dropped off at the Student Government Association’s office in 219 Rhatigan Student Center.

Shocker Athletics will be working on the stadium lights at Eck Stadium on Tuesday Feb. 28 and Wednesday, March 1.

During this time, a section of the parking lot outside the stadium, lot 19E, will be blocked off. The lot will close the night before, Monday, Feb. 27, and all vehicles will need to be out of the area. The lot will reopen once the work is finished.

In honor of President’s Day, Wichita Transit will not run bus service on Monday, Feb. 20. Make other transportation arrangements for that day. Service will resume at regular hours on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Food For Fines, February 7-10, Donations can be made by anyone with a current WSU ID and completed online Food for Fines form
