Parking will be enforced as usual during finals week, Saturday, May 6 to May 11.

Beginning Friday, May 12 green student lots will open for the summer and ePermits will not be required until Aug. 21. All other areas, including yellow faculty/staff lots, will still be enforced during the summer.

To celebrate Earth Day, Student Government Association and Green Group will host an Earth Day Festival Friday, April 21. A farmers market and a couple food trucks will be set up in the parking lot directly outside Corbin Education Center, lot 10.

Faculty and staff who usually park in this lot can park in the student lot east of Corbin, lot 5, on Friday.

The north half of the lot east of the Corbin Education Center, lot 5, will be blocked off for a firework display on Friday, April 14 after the softball game, which starts at 6 p.m. in Wilkins Stadium.

For safety reasons, all vehicles parked on the north side of the lot will need to be moved out of the area by the night of Thursday, April 13.

On Thursday, April 13, Woolsey Hall’s parking lot, lot 41, will be blocked off all day for several events including the National Advisory Council (NAC) Reception at Woolsey.

And on Friday, April 14, there will be several lot reservations across campus:

  • A portion of Woolsey’s lot, lot 41, will be blocked off for guests from the Kansas Board of Regents until 5 p.m.
  • A portion of the lot east of Ablah Library, lot 13, will be blocked off for guests attending a Certified Commercial Investment Member class. The lot will reopen after 9:30 a.m.
  • And the lots outside the Marcus Welcome Center, lots 21N and 21W, will be blocked off until 11 a.m. for the NAC business meeting.

For the Craig W. Barton Speaker Series on Thursday, March 30 at Wiedemann Hall, the north section of lot 1, the lot west of the Duerksen Fine Arts Center at Hillside and Alumni, will be blocked off for the event. Those parked should move out by noon on Thursday.
