WSU is set to host participants and attendees for state baseball, state softball and state track events Wednesday, May 27 through Saturday, May 30. These events bring a large number of visitors to the university and parking will be congested across campus.

Faculty, staff, students and campus partners are urged to plan ahead and allow extra time to arrive on campus during this period. Summer parking rules will be in effect. Unless otherwise indicated by posted signage, all green lots will be open and free for general parking. The parking garage and all other parking areas will still be enforced as usual.

Girls on the Run will be holding its annual 5K race on campus from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9. The following roads will be closed during that time frame:

  • Perimeter Road
  • North Yale Avenue
  • Memorial Drive
  • East Alumni Drive

Parts of Mike Oatman Drive, Innovation Boulevard and 19th Street will also be closed. You can access campus from West Alumni Drive, Fairmount Street, North Harvard Avenue, WuShock Drive, Mid-Campus Drive, 18th Street or Braeburn Lane. All roads will open at 10 a.m.

Student Outreach & Support will be closed for professional development from noon to 5 p.m. Friday May 1.
