Construction is scheduled to begin this week at the Geology Building for renovations to relocate the Department of Anthropology into the building alongside the Department of Geology and prepare for the Neff Hall demolition next year. Fencing will be installed around the building early this week. This phase of construction is scheduled to be complete by the end of fall 2026 semester.

During construction, the building will remain partially occupied. Classes will be held in the Geology Building this fall as planned. The Department of Geology Office has temporarily been relocated to 010 Elliott Hall.

Ablah Library will close at noon Wednesday, May 27 for employee training, and will resume regular hours on Thursday, May 28. The 24-hour study room will remain open during this time.
