Lot 9W and Lot 9E, the parking lots along 17th Street near Ahlberg Hall and Elliott Hall, will be closed Thursday, June 4 for orientation.

ADA stalls are not subject to lot closures and proper use is permitted during this time. Green lots are open for the summer, all other lots are still enforced.

Lot 41, the parking lot near Woolsey Hall, will be closed Thursday, June 4 for an event. Faculty and staff that typically park in this lot will need to park in other yellow lots in the area of the building. The YMCA lot is not available for faculty, staff or event guest parking and could result in a citation.

The purpose of lot reservations is to help accommodate large groups of guests visiting campus for events or the event itself. Lot reservations are not to be used for WSU affiliates. Remember, visitors to campus can park without an ePermit up to three times each semester.

Construction is scheduled to begin this week at the Geology Building for renovations to relocate the Department of Anthropology into the building alongside the Department of Geology and prepare for the Neff Hall demolition next year. Fencing will be installed around the building early this week. This phase of construction is scheduled to be complete by the end of fall 2026 semester.

During construction, the building will remain partially occupied. Classes will be held in the Geology Building this fall as planned. The Department of Geology Office has temporarily been relocated to 010 Elliott Hall.

Ablah Library will close at noon Wednesday, May 27 for employee training, and will resume regular hours on Thursday, May 28. The 24-hour study room will remain open during this time.

Parking Services will be closed on Friday, May 29 for the state track meet on campus. Parking enforcement will still be in effect at this time.
