Looking for a quick lunch option? Try the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes’ pizza by the slice, available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Do you have opinions about Rhatigan Student Center dining operations? Apply to attend the RSC Foodie Forum from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26. Shockers can have their voices heard and enjoy a lunch at no additional charge.

The deadline to apply is Oct. 17, and 30 students will be selected and contacted to participate.

Don’t miss National Taco Day Wednesday, Oct. 4 at Tu Taco. The first 20 people to purchase three or more tacos in a single transaction get a yard-length to-go cup.

Those feeling more snacky than hungry can also now buy single tacos for only $2.25 each and only $2 dollars on Tuesdays.

Tu Taco will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shockers can enjoy a special deal on a meal from Jersey Mike’s at Braeburn Square. Bring your Shocker ID with you and receive any regular size sub, chip and drink for $12.95.

The offer is only available at the Braeburn Square location at 4521 E. 21st Street North.

Jersey Mike’s at Braeburn Square is offering a deal during happy hour for Shockers with their Shocker ID through the end of October.

Stop by Jersey Mike’s from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays until Oct. 30 for $2 off any regular or giant sub by presenting your Shocker ID at checkout.

Shocker Nation can now enjoy a new dining option on campus with Two Hands Corn Dogs now open at Braeburn Square on the Innovation Campus.

Its menu includes items such as corn dogs, elotes, fries and tots with Korean-style twists, as well as a selection of slush and soda. Opening day hours for Friday, Sept. 22 are from noon to 7 p.m., with the normal business hours being from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

And to celebrate the opening, diners can enjoy a corn dog at no additional charge during a special event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 and on Sept. 24.

Introducing “First Year Eats,” a new lineup of events gives students an opportunity to meet fellow first-year students, taste trending sneak-peak menu items and earn stylish swag that provides a discount pass across campus dining locations.

All are welcome to join these events, not just first-year students. Updates and promos will also be posted on the Wichita State Dining Instagram.
