Following work done in the area, the pathway between the Rhatigan Student Center (RSC) and Jardine Hall has been reopened to foot traffic. Thank you for your understanding while the walkway was closed.

The new pickleball court project will start Wednesday, Jan. 8. Crossland Construction will set up the construction fence around the grassy area north of Lindquist Hall Jan. 8, and dirt work will start Monday, Jan. 13, weather permitting.

The construction project is scheduled to be completed early summer 2025. Use caution when using the walkway between Heskett Center and Grace Wilkie, as this will be the main construction route to bring in materials and equipment.

Facilities Services will be doing repairs on the domestic water system in Hubbard Hall Wednesday, Dec. 18. The building will be without water all day. If you have any questions, contact Facilities Services at 316-978-3444.

Construction traffic will again be present around the south and west of Shocker Success Center, as concrete and landscape work in the area continues. The sidewalks closest to the southwest entrance of the building will be closed for at least a week.

The steps in front of the Engineering Building will be inaccessible for repairs starting Friday, Oct. 11 and accessible again next Friday, Oct. 18. During the work, the entrance and sidewalk/ramp will remain open.

Signs will be up around Jardine Hall for the alternate pedestrian route paths. Use the north and south entries of Jardine Hall or the north and west entries of the Rhatigan Student Center as alternate routes around the construction between Jardine Hall and the RSC.

The west entrance to Jabara Hall will be closed Friday, Sept. 27 to accommodate exterior building maintenance. All other entrances will remain open.

Thank you for patience as essential maintenance work is completed on campus.

The south end of the Innovation Campus’ pedestrian walkway, as well as a pathway between John Bardo Center and P2, will be temporarily closed to replace building signage.

The closure will take effect beginning Monday, Sept. 16 and will remain closed until the work is completed. The sidewalks are projected to re-open on Oct. 11.

Exterior entrances into Beggs Hall, Wallace Hall and the Aviation Testing Laboratory buildings from the north courtyard area will be temporarily closed for the replacement of an underground utility line. The work is anticipated to be completed in November. Emergency exiting will still be allowed from all doors, but other building doors should be used for entry purposes.

Temporary construction fencing will block foot traffic between Jardine Hall and the Rhatigan Student Center (RSC). Pedestrians may detour through the RSC or Jardine to get to their destination.
