European Travel Seminar Information Session Summer 2026; Tuesday, October 21st at 2 p.m. Elliott Hall room 234

Interested in visiting Europe? There will be a short European travel seminar available for next summer that is open to all students of any major at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 in 234 Elliott Hall. The study abroad program will allow students to travel in a group to Europe with WSU faculty and learn about cultures of three countries while visiting many different sites.

PSY 317: Prevention Sciences & Community Wellness is designed for future leaders, researchers and practitioners interested in wellness and mental health, this course examines the theory and applied practices of community wellness and prevention work.

One such series of Badges is the Creative Interventions series, which offers a broad overview of creative, ethical and mindfulness-based approaches to practice, designed to support those working in social work, counseling, education and related areas.

Badges are bite-sized, one credit hour or less courses designed to work within the working professional’s schedule. They can be taken at your own pace and use Open Educational Resources, meaning you don’t need to pay for a textbook.

Wichita State’s Lifelong Learning program has released its fall 2025 classes, designed and free for individuals aged 60 and above.

Classes are available both online at your own pace or in person from 1-3 p.m. at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex, however only a limited number of seats are available for those who sign up for in-person classes, so register soon. Deadline for registering is Sept. 10.
