Are you interested in studying abroad over the winter break? Start planning now and look at the options available in many different countries.

Programs are generally three weeks long during the month of January. Areas of study include environmental studies, international business, music, religion, art history, photography, language, psychology, sociology and more.

Costs range from $2,000 to $6,290 (includes most fees for the programs except for the flight). Get started by completing the WSU study abroad application or email Study Abroad at studyabroad@wichita.edu.

Students can start the process by attending a study abroad information session or watching the information session video. Study Abroad scholarships are available and that application is also due by Sept. 15.

Stop by Study Abroad’s table from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center to learn more about study abroad programs and pick up some free goodies in celebration of Earth Day.

Study Abroad is excited to announce that WSU has a new exchange partner university in Chile available for study abroad programs.

Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) has two campuses located in Viña del Mar and Santiago. WSU students can study abroad at UAI for a semester, yearlong or summer programs.

Exchange partnerships allow students to pay their regular WSU tuition fees while on exchange. They offer some courses taught in English as well as many programs in Spanish and Spanish-language courses.

The new partnership officially begins for spring 2025. The deadline to apply for spring study abroad programs will be Sept. 15.

Students interested in studying abroad can register to attend an information session or watch the info session video. The last study abroad information session of the spring semester will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5 in 265 Rhatigan Student Center, Lucas Room.
