The annual Study Abroad Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6. Come to learn more about study abroad programs, scholarships and more.

There will be over 20 tables set up with information and have students on hand to share their experiences. For those who attend, they can be entered to win prizes, including study abroad scholarships.

Are you interested in studying abroad over the next winter break this upcoming January? Start planning now and look at the options available in many different countries.

Programs are generally one to three weeks long during the month of January, and areas of study include international business, music, religion, art history, communication, language, psychology, sociology and more.

Costs range from $1,300 to $6,000 (includes most fees for the programs except for the flight). Get started by completing the WSU study abroad application. Applications for the winter break study abroad are due by Sept. 1.

Interested in visiting London? There will be a London travel seminar available next summer starting May 2027 that is open to all students of any major. The study abroad program will allow students to travel in a group to London with WSU faculty from the English department and connect classroom learning with real world experiences while visiting many different sites in London.

Travel seminar scholarships are also available for up to $3,000 each. Learn more about the travel seminar at wichita.edu/LondonSummer.

Interested in visiting Mexico City? There will be a one-week Mexico City travel seminar available for next winter break that is open to all students of any major. The study abroad program will allow students to travel in a group to Mexico City with WSU faculty and learn about the culture, history, food and more, while visiting many different sites.

The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Honors students can take the course for honors credit and engineering students can use this program toward their Engineering+ requirements. Students will enroll in a one or three credit hour course during the spring 2027 semester to participate in the program.

Scholarships are available up to $1,500 for this travel seminar which will cover the full program fee and most of the flight.
