Interested in visiting Mexico City? There will be a one week Mexico City travel seminar available for next winter break, Jan. 2-8, 2027, that is open to all students of any major. The study abroad program will allow students to travel in a group to Mexico City with WSU faculty and learn about the culture, history, food and more, while visiting many different sites.

The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Honors students can take the course for honors credit and engineering students can use this program toward their Engineering + requirements.

Students have many options for study abroad programs through WSU exchange partner universities and program providers. Feb. 15, 2026 is the deadline for fall 2026 programs. Students can start the process by attending a study abroad information session or watching our video. Learn how to apply for programs and about scholarships on the Study Abroad website.

Interested in visiting Europe? There will be a short European travel seminar available for next summer that is open to all students of any major at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 in 234 Elliott Hall. The study abroad program will allow students to travel in a group to Europe with WSU faculty and learn about cultures of three countries while visiting many different sites.

The annual Study Abroad Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center. Come to learn more about study abroad programs, scholarships and more.

There will be over 20 tables set up with information that have students on hand to share about their experiences. For those who attend, they can be entered to win prizes, including study abroad scholarships. For questions, contact studyabroad@wichita.edu.
