The WSU President’s Innovation Advisory Council and the Academic Center for Biomedical and Health Humanities (HealthHum) are organizing the third annual Health Research and Education Summit at Wichita State from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 3 at the Marcus Welcome Center.
The purpose of the Wichita Health Research and Education Summit is to convene health industry stakeholders from across Wichita and Sedgwick County — including researchers, educators, clinicians, healthcare providers, industry partners and community leaders — to initiate and sustain meaningful dialogue around health research, education, innovation and healthcare delivery. By fostering connection and collaboration, organizers aim to identify strategic priorities and cultivate impactful partnerships.
Participants will include faculty and staff from WSU, WSU Tech and the KU School of Medicine – Wichita, as well as representatives from healthcare-related organizations throughout the region who are interested in advancing collaborative initiatives. Organizers envision this event as an invaluable opportunity for discovery, coalition-building and long-term strategic planning to strengthen the healthcare ecosystem in Wichita and South Central Kansas.
Partial attendance is welcome as well. If you are interested, you can also volunteer to give a flash presentation (approximately five minutes long) to share insights about your recent work and findings with fellow innovators. Feel free to share the invitation with others who may be interested in participating.
