New episodes of the “Plugged In” podcast are now available, offering you an inside look at campus programs and services designed to support your success. “Plugged In” features conversations with offices across campus, helping you understand what resources are available to you and how to take advantage of that support.

Recent episodes highlight TRIO programs, sharing how their services provide academic, personal and financial support for eligible students, as well as an episode focused on online and adult learning, which explore resources, flexibility and strategies tailored to nontraditional and online learners. Featured guests explain what their offices do, how you can connect with them and common questions they help answer.

Whether you are new to campus, returning after time away or learning online, “Plugged In” helps demystify campus services and encourages you to get connected early. Episodes are short, conversational and easy to listen to anytime.

Wichita State students can develop skills and help pay for college by participating in applied learning opportunities while working on their degree. Check out the Shocker Career Accelerator to get started and find help landing an internship. Also, talk with your professors for more potential opportunities.

Faculty are continuing to use the Student Early Alert System (SEAS) to share feedback on student progress.

If you receive a SEAS alert, it means your instructor has noticed something that may impact your success — such as attendance, participation or missing assignments. This is an opportunity to take action and connect with support.
