The state of Kansas recently began issuing new license plates that include four numbers and three letters. If you have a new license plate, please update your information in the parking portal, which can be found in your myWSU under “ePermits,” to avoid a citation.

You cannot edit your current listing; you must delete it and add the new one. If you have questions, email wsuparking@wichita.edu or call 316-978-5526.

The map of the section of campus near Cessna Stadium and Devlin Hall, showing Yale Avenue highlighted in green with yellow lines depicting blocked entrances on all sides

Yale Avenue, between 21st Street and Perimeter Road, will be closed for road construction starting the evening of Monday, May 27. The road is expected to re-open in early June.

WSU will host participants and attendees for the 5A state baseball and softball and state track events starting Thursday, May 23 through May 25. These events bring a large amount of visitors to campus and parking will be congested around Eck Stadium, Wilkins Stadium and Cessna Stadium.

Faculty, staff, students and partners are encouraged to plan accordingly and arrive early if they come to campus during this time frame. Summer parking will be in effect at this time; unless noted with signage, all green lots will be free and open parking.

Lot 41, the parking lot near Woolsey Hall, will be closed Wednesday, May 15 and 16 for events in the building. Faculty and staff that typically park in this lot will need to park in other yellow lots in the area of the building. The YMCA lot is not available for faculty, staff or event guest parking and could result in a citation.

The purpose of lot reservations is to help accommodate large groups of guests visiting campus for events or the event itself. Lot reservations are not to be used for WSU affiliates. Remember, visitors to campus can park without an ePermit up to three times each semester.

Red reserved and ADA stalls are not subject to lot closures and proper use is permitted during this time.
