The Environmental Finance Center (EFC) in the Hugo Wall School of Fairmount College is growing. It is excited to have launched the Heartland Environmental Justice Center recently and continue to serve communities in the Midwest and across the nation with capacity building for environmental finance.

The EFC is currently seeking an administrative specialist and grants coordinator. The role of this new position is to help both centers fulfill their mission by supporting administrative processes, coordinating with partners and tracking and reporting on our grants. This position requires accomplishing the daily administrative needs of the office and managing financial records.

High school diploma or equivalent is required by hire date. Three years of experience in accounting, finance or related field is required. Every 30 hours of college coursework can be substituted for one year of experience.

The College of Applied Studies (CAS) is looking for a graduation coordinator and administrative specialist to join its team.

The position involves training and supervising student workers, overseeing undergraduate graduation in the CAS and ensuring students are on track to graduate through degree audits. It also includes various administrative tasks to support the CAS advising center. Responsibilities encompass database management, compliance monitoring, event coordination, budget preparation and maintaining graduation records.

The role involves processing degree applications, advising students on academic matters and coordinating commencement ceremonies. It plays a crucial role in supporting department programs and services while ensuring smooth operations in the CAS advising center.

The College of Health Professions dean’s office is seeking applicants for its scholarship and events coordinator position.

The position will be responsible for coordinating and hosting various events that promote the college and its programs to prospective and current students, such as the annual CHP week, Clash of the Colleges and high school recruiting events. They also manage the scholarship program communications and fund administration for the college, ensuring that eligible students receive the financial support they need to succeed academically. Additionally, this position oversees the compliance and progress of scholarship recipients, coordinates with other departments to enhance recruitment and outreach efforts, and collaborates with university staff and students to foster academic success.
