The Healing from Trauma Support Group is available at 3 p.m. Tuesdays beginning March 22 at the Student Wellness Center. The group is the result of a partnerships between the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center (WASAC) and Counseling and Prevention Services (CAPS). The group is mean to provide participants a safe space and a path to healing with those who share similar experiences. Members will also participate in various activities and discussions.

The Cultural Ambassador Program (CAP) invites students, faculty and staff to try different types of tea and coffee from around the world at their International Coffee and Tea Event (ICT) noon-1 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at the Rhatigan Student Center (Room 142). Come grab a cup and recharge.

Need to renew or receive your Kansas ID or Driver’s License? Schedule an appointment at the Kansas Department of Motor Vehicles website and you can begin the process of renewing or receiving a Kansas ID or license at a DMV Mobil Event March at the Rhatigan Student Center (RSC) Room 266. Representatives from the Kansas DMV will be available by appointment at the RSC during this time.

This opportunity is available to both international and domestic students, staff, and faculty. Members are required to have a wichita.edu email to sign up reserve a time. Appointments are limited.

The Wichita State University Police (WSUPD) will conduct a Sergeant’s Promotion Process at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at the Rhatigan Student Center (Room 313). Part of the process will include a short presentation followed by a question and answer with each of the three candidates. The campus community is invited to attend and provide feedback for the candidates.

The panelists will address issues related to the underlying triggers of the crisis, NATO, the sanctions on Russia, democracy, autocracy, and the resolution against Russia at the United Nations General Assembly. The event is open to all Wichita State students, faculty and staff.
