Spring 2024 graduates may find information regarding their diplomas on the Registrar’s Office webpage (wichita.edu/diplomas). 

• The deadline to submit a name change on diplomas is the last day of classes, May 2.
• The diploma distribution date for the spring 2024 semester is July 1. Diplomas can be picked up at the transcript window on the first floor of Jardine Hall, and graduates must show identification.
• Graduates can request to have the diploma mailed to them for a fee through myWSU under the myClasses tab, clicking “Graduation Links” and “Request for Diploma Mailing.”
• Undergraduate students who wish to take courses after graduation need to reactivate their record after receiving their diploma.

Students can represent their home country during commencement with various stoles from the Rhatigan Student Center Shocker Store.

To see which countries have stoles currently available in store, visit the Shocker Store website.

See the selection of countries the Shocker Store can special order stoles for. Special order stoles take approximately two weeks to be delivered.

All spring and summer 2024 eligible graduates must RSVP for commencement by April 12. Spring 2024 commencement will take place Saturday, May 11.

Students with an application for degree on file should have received an email from Marching Order instructing them how to RSVP.

If you are graduating this spring, visit the Shocker Store during one of its Grad Days. CB Grad/Balfour will be in-house to help with ordering graduation announcements, nursing and dental hygiene pins, class rings and more.

Simply stop by between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 19 or 20 at the Rhaitgan Student Center location.

Shockers graduating in May can bundle their regalia items and save through April 26.

The Shocker Store offers regalia bundles for bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctorate degrees. Visit the RSC store or the “graduation” tab on the Shocker Store website for specific pricing and details.

The Shocker Store is taking regalia rental orders and custom academic regalia purchase orders from faculty and staff members who are planning on attending spring 2024 commencement.

Regalia rental orders are due by 4 p.m. Friday, April 5 and custom academic regalia purchase orders need to be placed by 4 p.m. Friday, March 1.

Graduating students, if you are a member of any of the listed groups below and would like to order the group’s corresponding graduation stole, pre-orders must be completed by March 15 on the Shocker Store website.

Groups included are Shocker Bowling, Japanese Culture Association, University Innovation Fellows, Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Sciences, BS in Nursing or SOSW (Student Organization of Social Work).

These stoles are only available by pre-order, they will not be carried in store later. For questions, call 316-978-7021 or email shockerstore@wichita.edu.

Faculty and staff can attend the commencement ceremonies to show support and encouragement to their graduating students.

The spring 2023 commencement ceremonies will be held May 13, and the deadline to RSVP is April 25.

• 9 a.m. – Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Fine Arts, Dorothy & Bill Cohen Honors College, and College of Innovation and Design
• 1 p.m. – College of Applied Studies and College of Health Professions
• 5 p.m. – W. Frank Barton School of Business and College of Engineering
