WSU Geology Club Presents: Environmental Science Career Expo. Wednesday, November 8th, 10 AM to 1 PM. Rhatigan Student Center, room 266. This expo is open to all students, especially those who wish to pursue a career in environmental science.

Join the WSU Geology Club and connect with companies at the Environmental Science Career Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 in 266 Rhatigan Student Center.

The following companies will be showcasing current and future job openings and internships at the expo:

  • GSI
  • U.S. Geological Survey

It’s a unique chance to network and interact with private, state and federal employers and open the door to countless opportunities in the ever-evolving field of environmental science. The event welcomes students from all majors and extends an invitation to anyone eager to learn more about career prospects.

Connect with over 60 employers looking to hire interns, co-op students and full-time employees in the engineering and information technology industry at the Engineering and IT Career Fair from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in 305/306 Rhatigan Student Center.

At the event, students will have the opportunity to have face-to-face conversations with staff that recruit and hire for employer partners; so be sure to dress professionally, have enough resumes to hand out to each employer with a few extras and have a 30-second elevator pitch ready.

The fair also gives students a chance to improve their networking skills in a learning environment with Shocker Career Accelerator staff on hand to answer any questions.

This fair is open to all majors at Wichita State. It’s a great way to meet with staff from various departments across campus who have student assistant, work-study or graduate assistant employment positions available for the upcoming academic year. Dress to meet with employers, bring 20-30 resumes and your fall class schedule. Also don’t forget to make sure your name is on all your documents.
