Join the Shocker Store for its annual spring sale. Swing by for some deals on new Shocker gear.

The Shocker Store will host the sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 in 142 Rhatigan Student Center, Harvest Room.

The Shocker bowling men’s and women’s teams have qualified for the Intercollegiate Team Championship and will compete from Thursday April 20 to April 22 in Las Vegas against the top 16 men’s and women’s teams from across the nation.

The teams have qualified for the tournament 85 times between the two teams in their history. Both teams have high hopes of returning to the winners’ circle this year after winning national titles in 2021 and finishing second in 2022.

Not familiar with the Shocker Bowling teams? Here are some fast facts:

• Won 22 national championships (10 women, 12 men)
• Combined varsity GPA of 3.53 cumulative
• Three countries and 20 states represented annually in the Shocker Bowling Program
• 149 All-Americans and 12 collegiate player of the years
• Mark Lewis, director of the bowling teams, competed in the 1988 Olympic Games when bowling was an exhibition sport
• All three coaches, Holly Harris, Mark Lewis and Rick Steelsmith are alums of the Shocker Bowling Program

Visit the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes for the month April to try the pizza of the month. This month’s pizza is the the Margherita, a 14 inch pizza topped with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, parmesan cheese, chili flakes and oregano.

Departments planning for academic year end awards and gifts should place their orders now with RSC Engraving, located inside the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes in the lower level of the Rhatigan Student Center.

Visit the Rhatigan Student Center Shocker Store from Wednesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 8 for an Easter egg hunt. Each day, eggs with discounts from 20% to 50% will be hidden throughout the store.

Only one egg/discount per person, per visit, and there will be a limited number of eggs allocated for each day.

The Rhatigan Student Center will be closed on Sunday, April 9. Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 10.

Enjoy some snacks while playing bingo to win even more snacks. Join the Rhatigan Student Center for snack time bingo at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, in 142 RSC.

It’s that time of year again to vote for a new or returning restaurant in the Rhatigan Student Center through Student Choice Voting. WSU Dining will have open voting through Wednesday, April 12.

The campus community can vote now or visit the Powerful event at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 4 at Shocker Dining to try samples from each restaurant option.

Join the Rhatigan Student Center for its music series, Monday Melodies, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 27 at the Starbucks Lounge. The event will feature live music from Whitnie.

The RSC hosts Monday Melodies the last Monday of every month.
