The Shocker Store is selling new pink merchandise in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink merchandise includes a short sleeve tee for $10 and a long sleeve tee for $15.

For each item sold, $1 will be donated to Victory in the Valley, which provides support to cancer patients, survivors and their families in the area.

This offer is good while supplies last and valid at both the Rhatigan Student Center and the Braeburn Square locations and online. No discounts will be accepted on this merchandise.

The Shocker Store is having a gameday sale today in honor of the Shocker volleyball game against East Carolina. For today only, take 20% off volleyballs and basketballs at the Braeburn Square and Koch Arena locations.

Some exclusions apply. The Braeburn Square is open today 11 a.m.-7 p.m. The Koch Arena store opens at 6 p.m.

Show your Shocker spirit on your pumpkin carving with the Shocker Store’s new pumpkin carving kit. The $3.99 kit includes six different Wichita State themed stencils and is available at both the Rhatigan Student Center and Braeburn Square stores.

The Rhatigan Student Center and its departments will have altered hours Saturday, Oct. 9-12 during fall break. For specific hours for each department, visit wichita.edu/rschours.

Free Friday poker tournaments return to Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 8.

During these times, participants can play in Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments each Friday for a $10 cash prize. During these tournaments, participants can also earn points toward eligibility for the semester championship with cash rewards of $100 per winner.

In honor of World Teacher’s Day Oct. 5, faculty can get 50% off when they show their faculty ID at Shocker Dining located in Shocker Hall.

Are you graduating in December? Now through Nov. 24 students can bundle their regalia items and save at the Shocker Store.

The Shocker store offers regalia bundles for bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctorate degrees. Visit the Rhatigan Student Center location or select the graduation tab at shockerstore.com for specific pricing and details.

If you are a doctoral candidate and want to purchase custom academic regalia, the deadline is Oct. 15. Payments are due when the order is placed.
