Join the Ulrich Museum of Arts, Student Engagement and Belonging, and Student Activities Council in celebrating Cinco De Mayo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 on the east Rhatigan Student Center courtyard. A free meal including two chicken tacos, agua fresca and elote cups will be available for the first 150 students who check in at the event.

Neon Night Out in Beggs Ballroom on March 25 from 8pm-10pm. This event is sponsored by the Student Activities Council.

Join the Student Activities Council for a glow dance party from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 in 305/306 Rhatigan Student Center, Beggs Ballroom. With a live DJ, refreshments, glow face paint and glowing games, this event will provide high energy beats and fun. This event has a clear bag policy and will have a coat check area provided. Student attendees are encouraged to wear white or neon colors.

The Student Activities Council is seeking judges for the third annual Shockers Got Talent competition. Judges will watch, evaluate and score 10-12 student performers to determine this year’s winners who will receive scholarships.

Faculty and staff who volunteer their time receive the best seats in the house and are provided dinner for their time. Must be available starting at 6 p.m. April 2 at Miller Concert Hall in Duerksen Fine Arts Center.

Unleash your creativity at Paint the Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 in Shocker Hall. Whether you’re an experienced artist or picking up a brush for the first time, this relaxing, instructor-led workshop will guide you through completing your own masterpiece.

Each participant will receive a pre-sketched canvas, all painting supplies and step-by-step instruction from an artist from Paint the Towne. This event is limited to 30 WSU student attendees. Registration is required by Monday, Feb. 3.

Hypnotist Chris Jones, February 6, 2026 in Miller Concert Hall, doors open 6:30pm. This event is free to WSU Students, $5 for WSU staff and faculty with ID and $8 general public.

Prepare for a mind bending journey with Chris Jones where comedy and hypnosis collide at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 at Miller Concert Hall in Duerksen Fine Arts Center. This Student Activities Council event is free to WSU students with their Shocker IDs, $5 for WSU faculty/staff and $8 for general public. Acclaimed hypnotist, comedian and host of prank series Double Take on Facebook Watch, Jones has proven his talents on national stages like America’s Got Talent, The Steve Harvey Show, and Penn and Teller. and is bringing his talents to campus on Miller Concert Hall.

Murder Mystery Dinner by Jest Murder Mystery Co. This event is October 30 at 6:30pm-9:30pm. Location is the Beggs Ballroom in the Rhatigan Student Center. Registration is required. Cost is $10 for WSU Students with a WSU ID, $15 for WSU Faculty and staff with WSU ID and $20 for General Admission.

Enjoy the golden hours before sunset with access to kayaks, pedal boats and bicycles. It’s the perfect way to relax, connect with friends and take in the fall crisp air. Transportation will be provided to registered attendees, and registration is $10.

Mini Music Festival on September 19th from 6:30-10pm. This event will be hosted on the RSC East Patio and Courtyard and will feature live music from 3 student bands from WSU and a live DJ. Enjoy food and drinks from FSL Vendors and browse at the vendor market form local artisens.

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of live music and good vibes at the Mini Music Festival from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 on the east patio of the Rhatigan Student Center. Featuring a mix of sounds from three bands from the WSU student body and a talented DJ, the event promises to be a celebration of music and community.

Foam Drop Dance Party on Thursday, August 21st from 8pm-11pm on the East Patio of thed Rhatigan Student Center. This event will be foam cannons, live DJ, indoor photobooth and yard games.

Dive into the new semester with bubbles, beats and good vibes at the Student Activities Council’s (SAC) foam party from 8 to 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at the MGC Quad just east of the Rhatigan Student Center. The grand finale event to wrap up RSC Day and Shocker Night will offer a DJ, foam cannons, an indoor photobooth and yard games to welcome students back to campus start the year off with great energy. So wear something you don’t mind getting wet and get ready to party under the stars.

Next Level Garage Party, Saturday, August 16th from 9pm-12am. This event will be hosted outside in the Rhatigan Student Center Parking Lot. There will be games, a DJ, free food, prizes, activities and free t shirts while supplies last.
