HOPE Services is presenting DCCCA’s one-hour naloxone administration course from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 in 203 Rhatigan Student Center, Lancelot Room to the WSU community to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and respond to an overdose crisis using naloxone and other available resources. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids.

Students can sign up for the training on the website and staff/faculty can register via myTraining on myWSU.

Campus Recovery Meeting Starting February 17th, meetings are every Tuesday at 1pm RSC 319 Care Team The Phoenix HOPE Services Suspenders4hope

Led by the community-based recovery organization, The Phoenix – Wichita, alongside HOPE Services and the CARE Team, the campus recovery meetings provide a space for grounding meditation and connection with other students in recovery.

These meetings take place at 1 p.m. every Tuesday in 319 Rhatigan Student Center, McKey Room. No sign-up is required and anyone seeking a recovery space.

Join HOPE Services’ prevention ambassadors for a Joy Cultivation Workshop at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 in 258 Rhatigan Student Center, Smoky Hills Room. This free event is open to anyone interested in learning practical ways to navigate hardship and cultivate more joy in everyday life.

The guest speaker for February, Evris Oake, will lead a one-hour presentation along with an interactive exercise titled “Writing a Path to Joy.” Free snacks are provided.
