Join the annual Pumpkin Run 5K Wichita State. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or just in it for the fun, this fall tradition is one you won’t want to miss.

All participants will receive:

Kids ages 10 and under can join the fun in the Little Pumpkin Run 1K. They’ll receive a 1k youth-sized T-shirt and a finisher medal — perfect for their first race.

Pickleball Courts Open Thursday

Join Campus Recreation and get ready for the grand opening of the new pickleball courts at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10 between the Heskett Center and Hubbard Hall.

Treats and drinks will be available at noon, and the first 100 check-ins get a free pickleball and a chance at the gear giveaway.

Heskett Center Closed March 8

The Heskett Center will be closed Saturday, March 8 for a scheduled power outage by Evergy.

 

Wellness Expo Today March 5, 2025

Campus Recreation is hosting an educational and interactive Wellness Expo from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today, March 5 in the Heskett Center. Plan to join your fellow Shockers as you receive medical screenings and wellness tips from over 50 vendor booths from WSU departments and around the community.
