SGA presents Diversity Week: One campus, many people, embracing diversity

The Student Government Association, in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, is proud to announce that we will be hosting the first annual Diversity Week from Sept. 13-17. We invite all students, faculty and staff to join us for a week full of events and unity for the opportunity to come together and learn more about one another.

The goal is to start and continue conversations about the various groups on campus surrounding race, gender, sexuality, social economic status, disability, and political ideologies as a way to bring diversity based education to campus. We are excited to see the turnout of this weeklong event and hope to see you there.

Each year, SGA allocates funding for any recognized student organization or individual for program, research, travel, conference, and leadership development opportunity. Shocker Support Locker hiring

The Student Government Association’s Shocker Support Locker is hiring for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Student assistants will support the day-to-day operations of Shocker Support Locker while processing orders, managing inventory and supporting students, faculty and staff. The job pays $10 per hour and requires 15 hours per week.
