Note that donations can only be accepted during the donation period. All citations given after the end of the fall 2022 semester through February are eligible.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to the culminating event of SGA’s Diversity Week: the inaugural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Symposium, sponsored by the Student Government Association, Housing and Residence Life, and the chief diversity officer.

The event is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 in the RSC Beggs Ballroom.

During the event, you’ll hear from the chair of the Diversity, Empowerment and Inclusion Committee, get an update from the chief diversity officer about the university’s DEI Plan, and watch a keynote address from Regina Platt about how students can engage on college campuses around DEI work.

Lunch will be provided for guests.

Registration is now open for Diversity Week Oct. 31-Nov. 4. The theme of Diversity Week 2022 will be celebrating unity in community with daily focuses on cultural, religious, identity and ability diversity.

Diversity Week was invented in 2021 by the 64th session of Student Government Association (SGA) as an opportunity for WSU students to be exposed to the beauty of diversity.
