The October 2022 Food For Fines will take place through Friday, Oct. 14. Food for Fines is an initiative to support the Shocker Support Locker while providing a cheaper alternative to paying parking citations.

Please note that donations can only be accepted during the donation period.

All donations for Food for Fines must be dropped off at the Student Government Association’s office in RSC 219.

Registration is now open for Diversity Week Oct. 31-Nov. 4. The theme of Diversity Week 2022 will be celebrating unity in community with daily focuses on cultural, religious, identity and ability diversity.

Diversity Week was invented in 2021 by the 64th session of Student Government Association (SGA) as an opportunity for WSU students to be exposed to the beauty of diversity.

A live university faculty and staff town hall will be held 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12 via YouTube. This event is an opportunity to listen to and interact with President Rick Muma and Executive Vice President and Provost Shirley Lefever. The event will be moderated by Gabriel Fonseca, University Staff Senate president; and Whitney Bailey, Faculty Senate president.

Faculty and staff who participate can ask questions during the live chat YouTube stream. For participants who don’t have a YouTube account, follow the link below to create one. Creating an account will help facilitate questions in the live chat section of the Virtual Town Hall.
