For the Thursday, Nov. 9 Shocker men’s basketball game, a number of lots in the vicinity of Charles Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking beginning at 3:30 p.m. During this time, signage will be in place alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars by 3:30 p.m. Any unauthorized parking in a game day lot carries a $50 citation fine.

Lot 2W, west of Charles Koch Arena, will be closed for school bus parking only Wednesday, Nov. 8 for the USD 259 Education Day at the Shocker women’s basketball game. All vehicles need to be removed from the lot the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The purpose of the lot reservations is to help accommodate large group of guests visiting campus for events or the event itself. Lot reservations are not to be used for WSU affiliates. Remember, visitors to campus can park without an ePermit up to three times each semester.

Red reserved and ADA stalls are not subject to lot closures and proper use is permitted during this time.

Due to events at Woolsey Hall, there will be partial lot closures every day during the week of Monday, Nov. 6 in Lot 41 near Woolsey Hall. Faculty and staff that typically park in this lot will need to park in other yellow lots in the area of the building if the lot is full. The YMCA lot is not available for faculty staff or event guest parking and could result in a citation.

For Sunday’s Shocker men’s basketball game, a number of lots in the vicinity of Charles Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. During this time, signage will be in place alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars by 10 a.m. Any unauthorized parking in a game day lot carries a $50 citation fine.

Parking in green lots will be open Monday, Oct. 16 and Tuesday, Oct. 17 for fall break. Note that all other lots will be enforced as usual as university offices will still be open for business.

For WSU men’s basketball games, lots in the vicinity of Koch Arena will be reserved for Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization parking three hours before game time. On those occasions, signage will be in place the day of the game alerting drivers of the impending lot assignment changes.

Anyone previously parked in these lots will need to move their cars at this time.

Plan early for these events by visiting the men’s basketball parking page to view a map and list of game days and times and sign up for parking text alerts. Unauthorized parking in a game day lot carries a $50 fine.

Lot 41, the lot near Woolsey Hall, will be closed until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 for an event. The purpose of the lot reservations is to help accommodate large group of guests visiting campus for an event.

Wichita State affiliates are not to park in lots closed for a reservation and could be subject to a parking fine if they do. Red reserved and ADA stalls will still be available for their intended purpose on this day.

New parking signage at YMCA

Parking at the YMCA, Lot 40, is limited to two hours and is only available to those who are actively using the YMCA.

Citations will be issued to those who park for longer than two hours or use the parking lot while not in the YMCA. Because of ongoing unauthorized parking in the lot, fines will be doubled for those who receive a citation.
