The Barton School of Business Undergraduate Student Success Center is now hiring for an academic advisor position: Student success and retention coordinator.

The position will advise students concerning their academic plans, progress, and academic and career goals in order to assist students in making personal education decisions and meeting graduation requirements.

The Barton School of Business Student Success Center is accepting applications for its office coordinator position. The position is responsible for supporting daily operations for an active student-facing office, helping schedule student appointments, record keeping, managing budgets, problem solving and managing student workers.

The position will also take a leading role in scheduling and planning events.

The Business Student Success Center is hiring a student success and transfer specialist to provide academic advising for undergraduate students and to coordinate efforts with its transfer students and partner institutions.

To succeed in the role, applicants need to be familiar with identifying student needs and university resources, have experience working with diverse student populations, and be able to guide students through the transition process.

The position is open until filled, but priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit application materials by Wednesday, May 3.

Jensen retired as senior student success specialist in the Barton School of Business on Dec. 3.

The Barton School of Business Student Success Center located at 008 Clinton Hall will close beginning Thursday, July 21, and will re-open Tuesday, July 26 at its new location at 129 Woolsey Hall.

The office will provide services remotely July 21, and will close July 22 and July 25. It will re-open July 26 for in-person and remote services July 26.

The Barton School of Business Student Success Center will close for an all-campus advisor retreat today, Feb. 9. Regular hours will resume Thursday, Feb. 10.
