Summer 2023 Travel Seminar: London, Dublin & Windsor.

Students are invited to attend the next study abroad opportunity at the London Summer Travel Seminar May 15-23, 2023. The seminar is open to all students. Dr. Fran Cook, from the Office of Research and Contracts, will accompany students during the seminar.

European Travel Seminar Summer 2023; Virtual Information Meeting on June 13th at 2 p.m.

Start planning for next year’s study abroad program to England and Ireland with our European travel seminar at 2 p.m. June 13 via Zoom.

The informational meeting is open to all interested students. Email studyabroad@wichita.edu to receive the Zoom link to attend.

Wichita State students who have studied abroad at Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt in Austria shared their experiences during a panel discussion podcast. The panel includes Jason Forbes, who studied abroad 2006 to 2007, Whitney Fowler, who studied abroad in 2007, Garin Egerton, who studied abroad in 2018, and Brayden Hosman, who also studied abroad in 2018.

The group discussed tips and tricks for studying abroad and information about studying abroad in Austria. They also reminisced about their time abroad. The panel was moderated by WSU assistant educator Jessica Newman.

Students can spend the summer of 2022 studying abroad in France as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Experience. This six-week summer program is available for students of all majors who are interested in studying entrepreneurship and international business.

As part of the program, students will work on a project with a French company at the direction of faculty from the W. Frank Barton School of Business and the École Supérieure de Commerce de Pau Business School, one of WSU’s exchange partner universities. Scholarships are available to applicants for this program.

Attend the Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 to learn about our programs, scholarships and options for 2022 and beyond. Students in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship toward a study abroad program, as well as free swag and prizes.
