India has become an increasingly important U.S. partner amid supply chain and geopolitical shifts. The World Trade Council of Wichita (WTCouncil), in collaboration with the Center for International Business Administration (CIBA) and the International Business Studies Association (IBSA) at the Barton School of Business, hosts its first program of the year, “Doing Business in and within India,” Thursday, March 6 at the Wichita Country Club. The event features D.C. Manjunath, consul general of India to the U.S. (covering Kansas and other states). Networking starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by the dinner program at 7:30 p.m.
The WTCouncil will also launch its “Doing Business” series with international consulting firm, Dezan Shira, starting with India. Additional analyses, including an encyclopedia series with World Scientific, will follow. Each volume, led by a businessperson or policymaker with an academic, will feature contributions from all three groups.
