The priority deadline for submitting your presentation proposal for the 2026 Kansas Gender & Sexuality Conference is coming up Wednesday, Feb. 4, so here’s your friendly reminder.
The purpose of this annual free interdisciplinary conference is to showcase the gender- and sexuality-related scholarly work happening across the state — highlighting students, faculty, staff and/or community partners’ creative and scholarly activities — and to provide an opportunity to network across departments and universities and community organizations across Kansas.
It’s easy to submit. Just fill out the brief CFP survey, which will ask you for a title for your presentation, names and affiliations of presenters, along with a brief 200-300-word summary/abstract describing the focus of your original research, proposed interactive training/workshop, panel discussion or other creative work related to the exploration of gender and/or sexuality related topics.
The submission link can be accessed through the conference website: wichita.edu/genderconference.
