Submit an item for consideration to Strategic Communications’ newsletters: WSU Today, Shocker Blast and Campus Connection.
About newsletters
- WSU Today is sent to Wichita State faculty and staff every weekday when university offices are open.
- Shocker Blast is sent to students every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the fall and spring semesters when university offices are open and only on Wednesdays during the summer semester.
- Campus Connection is sent to Innovation Campus partners every Tuesday when university offices are open.
Consideration criteria
Strategic Communications staff will edit submissions for accuracy, punctuation, grammar, relevance and in accordance with Associated Press Style. Refer to the WSU writing style guide for more information on the university’s guidelines. If we alter a large portion of your content, we will send it back for review to ensure accuracy. All newsletter submissions approved by Strategic Communications will run as space allows. Final publication consideration of submissions is at the discretion of Strategic Communications.
