Wichita State’s Office of Research will host a workshop about the American Chemical Society’s Petroleum Research Fund (ACS PRF) 12:30-2 p.m. Sept. 30 via Zoom. 

The next grant application window for ACS-PRF is Sept. 20-Oct. 15. The workshop will educate members about ACS PRF, aid in refining research ideas and discuss how to have more success in applying to the ACS PRF grant program.

Dr. Coleen Pugh, WSU’s Office of Research vice provost and the Graduate School dean, will present at the workshop. Dr. Pugh has more than 30 years of experience in the research field of Polymer Science and serves on the Board Standing Committee of the ACS PRF, making funding recommendations for this program related to Committee 7: Polymer Science.

This is a reminder that schedule building for term 202220 (spring 2022) will be open until 5 p.m. Friday, Sept.3. The last schedule-building lab for the term is 9 a.m. Sept. 3 offered at Jabara Hall Room  (room 122).
