Staff and faculty who were unable to watch the fall 2025 town hall Oct. 28 can now watch the livestream archive on Wichita State’s YouTube channel.

University leaders discussed a number of recent topics relevant to WSU and answered questions from the audience, including information on current construction projects for Wichita State and the recent restructuring of the Provost’s Office.

Due to technical difficulties, the Oct. 29 Student Government Association town hall has been postponed. Information regarding the rescheduled town hall will be communicated in WSU Today. 

University leaders look forward to meeting with university constituents throughout the remaining year and beyond as these developments continue to evolve. Be on the lookout in WSU Today next semester for information on the spring 2026 town hall.

The Student Government Association town hall originally set for Oct. 29 has been rescheduled due to technical difficulties streaming the event. We apologize for the inconvenience. A new date for the town hall will be announced when available.

During this town hall, you’ll get a chance to hear from the Student Government Association and university administration.

Attend the virtual Student Government Association (SGA) town hall featuring university administration starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29 virtually via YouTube.

Here, you’ll get a chance to not only hear from the Student Government Association and the university administration, you’ll also have a chance to ask questions over the course of the town hall.

President Rick Muma; Monica Lounsbery, senior executive vice president and provost; and Teri Hall, vice president for Student Affairs, answered a number of questions from students on topics including:

• Challenges facing universities in Kansas, including enrollment, budget and legislation
• Projects happening around campus, including the 10-year Master Plan
• Policies at Wichita State, including on inclement weather, accessibility and parking
