Join the Shocker Store for its annual spring sale. Swing by for some deals on new Shocker gear.

The Shocker Store will host the sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 in 142 Rhatigan Student Center, Harvest Room.

Ready to get outdoors and get some exercise? Visit the Shocker Store in the Rhatigan Student Center any time during the week of April 10 to enter to win a Monster Energy mountain bike. No purchase required.

Visit the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes for the month April to try the pizza of the month. This month’s pizza is the the Margherita, a 14 inch pizza topped with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, parmesan cheese, chili flakes and oregano.

Visit the Rhatigan Student Center Shocker Store from Wednesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 8 for an Easter egg hunt. Each day, eggs with discounts from 20% to 50% will be hidden throughout the store.

Only one egg/discount per person, per visit, and there will be a limited number of eggs allocated for each day.

Students graduating in May can bundle their regalia items and save on their purchase until April 28 at the Shocker Store. Students can receive regalia bundles for bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctoral degrees.

These festive items are available at both the Rhatigan Student Center and Braeburn Square stores, and they are also available online. The items are not valid with other discounts or promotions.

In addition to the Ulrich Museum of Art’s schedule of programs and exhibitions, and the 7,200 works of art in its collection, the Ulrich Art Loan program is a critical branch of the museum’s educational mission to connect people to stories and learn through modern and contemporary works of art that reflect the world today.

The program offers a select number of artworks for loan from the permanent collection. The works may be placed, pending review, in Wichita State administration, faculty and staff offices. There are some placement criteria, and a $75 loan fee per object, per year applies. Ulrich staff can also help curate artwork for a space with a one-time fee of $150.

Those interested in borrowing artwork should visit the Ulrich Collection portal, click “View the collection” and type “UAL” in the search box to view all available works through the art loan program. Artwork selection varies throughout the year, due to office renovations, relocations and our ever-evolving WSU population. When someone has works in mind they would like to loan out, submit the request form, and a museum staff member will reach out to schedule a visit to the proposed space. If approved, museum staff will schedule an appointment to install the artwork.
