Grab a laptop, a WSU ID and head over to the Rhatigan Student Center (RSC) to participate in take the the College Learning Assessment (CLA) Tuesday 8-5 p.m. June 7 at 142 RSC. Reservations can be made online but walk-ins will also be accepted snacks will be provided to all test takers.

Participants who complete the assessment will receive a $25 gift card. There are two choices for a gift card:  A $25 QuikTrip card or in $25 Shocker Dollars that can be used at the RSC Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Freddy’s, Shocker Dining, Ground House or the Shocker Sports Grill.

The CLA measures the college and career readiness skills of critical thinking, problem solving, and effective written communication. For more information contact, Testing Services as 316-978-TEST (8378).

The Shocker Store is having a gameday sale today, May 16 in honor of the Shocker baseball game against Oklahoma. Today only, take 20% off Under Armour merchandise. Sale is valid at both the Braeburn Square and Eck Stadium stores. This deal is not valid with other discounts or promotions.

Boats and Bikes, a venue rental company that employs Shocker Rowing, will be open for the summer season May 27 and will be open daily 9 a.m.-sunset until August.

Customers can get a discount on rentals with their WSU ID. Rentals include: trikkes, scooters, bicycles, pedal boats, kayaks, S.U.P’s, and recreational rowing shells.

Preorder a custom-designed pop-it toy in the shape of Wu Shock by May 23. A pop-it is a fidget toy and is a silicone tray with pokable bubbles, similar to bubble wrap. It’s used to relieve anxiety or stress and help maintain focus.

The Pop-its cost $3.25 each for the 5″ x 5″ toy. You can place your order at the Shocker Printing storefront, click on the Office Supply button, then click on the new folder.
