Amanda Phanivong

Amanda Phanivong, a Wichita State University senior studying integrated marketing communication, recently began a fellowship with the Kansas-based Storytime Village Inc. While working there with their marketing and special events cohort, Phanivong has fully embraced her time with the Storytime team.

Jay Price, a history professor at Wichita State, and his creative team honored Wichita State’s 125th Anniversary with “A Walk with Wu,” a graphic novel highlighting our history, significant people, student life, traditions and events. Frank Barton of Distinguished Chair in International Business, and director of the Center for International Business Advancement — for her opinions on the research that universities should value for a report about the explosive topic, “Rethinking Tenure: Abolish, Strengthen or Replace it.”

The Chronicle is an influential leader and authoritative voice in higher-education journalism that is read at colleges and universities around the country by students, faculty and administrators.  

Haley has just published her eighth book on “Impact and the Management Researcher,” drawing on her three-year study of metrics to evaluate research. An excerpt of her interview is available below.
