Applications are open for the WSU Spark Society Scholarship for the 2026-27 academic year. Preference for the scholarship will be given to single family head of household student(s) (undergraduate or graduate) with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester in the semesters they receive awards. Two scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded.

Each session takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in 142 Rhatigan Student Center, Harvest Room and focuses on practical, real‑life financial topics. The next workshop is on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Learn how to eat well on a budget, understand credit and loans, get started with investing, and navigate major financial decisions through The Game of Life. Current Wichita State students who attend three out of four Shocker Financial Wellness workshops and complete one peer coaching appointment by May 1 will be entered into a drawing for a fall 2026 tuition scholarship (non-renewable and in-state value only).
