December 5, 2022 — For their final projects, students enrolled in The Bible and the Ancient Near East will give public presentations of their comparative study of biblical texts in their ancient cultural contexts from 11 a.m. to 12:5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 in RSC 257.

December 2, 2022 — Take a break from finals by joining WSU’s Rocket Club and OStem (Out in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for the Finals Destress Event, 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 in the John Bardo Center Lobby. There will be games, snacks, freebies and prizes. Students from all departments are welcome.

December 1, 2022 — Settle in for a cozy night of "Polar Express," popcorn, cookies and hot chocolate at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 in the CAC Theater. Admission is free to Wichita State students, and pajamas and blankets are recommended. 

December 1, 2022 — Join the Society of Women Engineers to relax before finals and celebrate the end of the semester with snacks, activities, and a gift exchange from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 in A131 Partnership 2 building, 

December 1, 2022 — Wichita State professor of physics Dr. Nick Solomey will speak on dark matter at the next Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 in 128 Jabara Hall or via Zoom.

November 30, 2022 — We have fun activities happening throughout the week of Dec. 5 as we celebrate De-stress Fest.

November 29, 2022 — Please join us for a public lecture by Dr. Michasel Jablonski, professor of mathematics at the University of Oklahoma. The lecture, titled "Growing more isometries by improving shape," will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 in 372 Jabara Hall. Refreshments will be available at 2:30 p.m. in room 353 Jabara Hall.

November 29, 2022 — WSU's Freshman Leadership Council is holding Coco Fun Time from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7. The entire campus community is invited to drink hot chocolate and build a graham cracker house. This is a good opportunity to have some fun and relax before finals. 

November 29, 2022 — Evolutionary epidemiologist Dr. Rob Wallace will speak as part of the Disaster Resilience Analytics Center from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 via Zoom. 

November 29, 2022 — Come celebrate the accomplishments of the Hispanic American Leadership Organization and its members for a baile (or dance) from 7 to 10 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Marcus Welcome Center. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments as well as a live band performance.
