Mark your calendars for the 2025 May Academic Resources Conference (ARC) May 19-22.

You can look forward to sessions on Blackboard’s new Video Studio tool, Microsoft Copilot, mindfulness, academic integrity policies, service-learning, microcredentials at WSU, Apple Intelligence and much more. In conjunction with the ARC, the Office of Faculty Advancement, Retention and Excellence (FARE) will be hosting a Faculty Writing Retreat and ARC Watch Party from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20-22 in Woolsey Hall. Choose from half days (9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m.) or full days (9 a.m.-4 p.m.). Two rooms will be available: one for streaming ARC sessions and another for quiet work. You are welcome to move between rooms as you prefer. Snacks, lunch and beverages will be provided. Register for this event by completing the registration form.

Get ready for the Academic Resources Conference (ARC) next week. Whether you’re dipping your toes in or diving deep, there are sessions for you. Topics include the move away from Panopto, pedagogy, student support, Blackboard tools and more resources to support you as the spring 2025 semester approaches.

New this year is how you can plan and access the sessions. As you decide which sessions you want to attend, you will have the option to register for that session which will include both the link to access the session as well as the ability to RSVP and get the session into your Outlook Calendar.

Academic Resources Conference (ARC) 2025

Mark your calendars to join the Academic Resources Conference (ARC), Jan. 13, 2025 through Jan. 17, 2025. The sessions this year continue to include topics ranging from Blackboard to Microsoft to mandatory trainings. This upcoming semester, one of the biggest changes coming is the move away from Panopto. This means that there will be sessions dedicated to video tools available to instructors as well as how to integrate them within the Blackboard environment.

Another change coming this year is how you can plan and access the sessions.
