SAC offering self-care stop Dec. 1

To help ease the stress of finals week, the Student Activities Council (SAC) will offer students a self-care stop 11-1 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Rhatigan Student Center Atrium.

The event will feature massages and other activities while members of Wichita State’s Counseling and Prevention Services will offer tips on how to manage stress. Hot tea and cocoa will be offered to participants.

Come test your luck on the roulette wheels and the blackjack tables at the Student Activities Council’s (SAC) Casino Night 7-9 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Rhatigan Student Center (first floor). Win big in craps or on the slot machines.

Prizes will be awarded to top-performing Wichita State student players and include AirPods, mini projectors, Shocker gear and more. Chips can also be cashed in for prizes. Admission is free to the campus community, however, prizes are limited to WSU students.

Engineering Council is an official organization representing the Student Body of the College of Engineering and to serve as a liaison among students, faculty, and administration of the College of Engineering of Wichita State University.

Paint U Dance Party planned for Aug. 19

Welcome back, students. It’s the first week of the semester, don’t let stress sweep in. Come be part of the Paint U Dance Party 9 p.m.-midnight Thursday, Aug. 19 at the Rhatigan Student Center courtyard. The event is free to students and the general public.
