The RSC hosts Monday Melodies on the last Monday of every month.

The biggest dining event of the season is back from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Shocker Dining Hall. This year’s Joyful is a fall harvest festival with local vendors like Chunky Poodle Cookies, WSU catering’s flower shop, Prairie Fire Coffee and the local General Mill rep serving up samples.

Fresh produce will also be available to purchase. All are welcome, and it’s only $9.75 to enter and have all-you-can-eat with a featured menu crafted by the dining cooks.

Join the Rhatigan Student Center for a fun Throwback Thursday event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 in the RSC east atrium.

Visit the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes Wednesday, Sept. 20 and celebrate National Pepperoni Pizza Day. Enjoy a pair of pizza socks at no additional charge with any pepperoni pizza purchase while supplies last.

Join the RSC Shocker Store from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 for an evening with Dr. Daniel Bergman, author of “Teaching is for Superheroes.”

Dr. Bergman is a professor and program chair of science education at Wichita State and currently works with students and teachers from kindergarten all the way to graduate school. Enjoy chatting with the author and hearing excerpts from the book and gain teaching insights, tips,and advice in an entertaining, superhero-inspired format.
