The Rhatigan Student Center and its departments will be closed Tuesday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.

The Shocker Store in the Rhatigan Student Center will be closed for year end inventory from Wednesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 2. It will reopen 8 a.m. Monday, July 3.

The Braeburn Square Shocker Store will remain open during this time. Web order processing may also be delayed during this time.

Introducing “First Year Eats,” a new lineup of events gives students an opportunity to meet fellow first-year students, taste trending sneak-peak menu items and earn stylish swag that provides a discount pass across campus dining locations.

All are welcome to join these events, not just first-year students. Updates and promos will also be posted on the Wichita State Dining Instagram.

Students, faculty and staff can save time on meal prep and dishes with a meal plan, now available for summer and fall 2023.

Shocker Dining is open weekdays over the summer during breakfast, lunch and dinner. For questions or to just chat, visit its office in 235 Rhatigan Student Center or call 316-978-3477. Shocker Dining is available to help Shockers find all the best dining spots on campus.

Through Tuesday, June 27, Shockers can take an extra 10% off clearance items at the Rhatigan Student Center Shocker Store. Redline items are included on the sale.

Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes will host Shocker bowling camps throughout June and bowling lanes will be unavailable from 4 p.m. Friday to noon Monday for the next three weekends, June 9-12, 16-19 and 23-26.

Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes appreciates your understanding as it hosts youth bowlers from across the country.

The Shocker Store invites Shockers to treat their dads this Father’s Day. Visit either of the Rhatigan Student Center or Braeburn Square locations from Monday, June 5 to Wednesday, June 14 to enter to win a WSU dad gift cooler.

No purchase necessary to enter the giveaway. Winners will be drawn Thursday, June 15.

Shockers can celebrate Pride Month with new gear at the Shocker Store. Pride T-shirts, stickers, lanyards and drinkware are available in both the Rhatigan Student Center and Braeburn Square stores and on the online store.

The RSC will return to normal operating hours May 30.
