The Shocker Store will be set up in the main lobby of WSU West so guests can shop for some great Shocker gear and enter to win some fabulous Shocker prizes.

The last Monday of every month, the RSC will host live music in the building.

The Shocker Store is taking regalia rental orders and custom academic regalia purchase orders from faculty and staff members who are planning on attending spring 2024 commencement.

Regalia rental orders are due by 4 p.m. Friday, April 5 and custom academic regalia purchase orders need to be placed by 4 p.m. Friday, March 1.

Shocker Store. Specialty stole pre-order. Deadline: March 15

Graduating students, if you are a member of any of the listed groups below and would like to order the group’s corresponding graduation stole, pre-orders must be completed by March 15 on the Shocker Store website.

Groups included are Shocker Bowling, Japanese Culture Association, University Innovation Fellows, Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Sciences, BS in Nursing or SOSW (Student Organization of Social Work).

Faculty, it’s time to collect summer and fall 2024 textbook information. The adoption due date for summer courses is April 1 and fall is April 15.

Verba Collect is a simplified faculty experience including pre-populated course assignments, easy-to-adopt past adoptions and smart book search. Verba Collect will send out customized emails to faculty and department coordinators with a unique link that logs you into a walk-through process without any need for username or password. Once you get into Verba Collect, there are four short videos for your perusal showing how to get started, add materials and submit your adoptions. Keep an eye on your email inboxes for an email from Verba.

If you are interested in providing your course materials digitally through the Shocker Store’s “Access Now” program, where students will access them in Blackboard, select that option in the “Item Questions.” Should you choose to have your courses participate in the program and those courses cross list with another course. please order the same thing for both and note that on your order.

Those planning on using open resource materials can indicate that on their order as well and to flag the course as such and the information can be made available to students.
