If you are graduating this spring, visit the Shocker Store during one of its Grad Days. CB Grad/Balfour will be in-house to help with ordering graduation announcements, nursing and dental hygiene pins, class rings and more.

Simply stop by between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 19 or 20 at the Rhaitgan Student Center location.

The Rhatigan Student Center and its departments will have altered hours March 10-15 for Spring Break. Visit the RSC Hours webpage for details (wichita.edu/rschours).

Shockers graduating in May can bundle their regalia items and save through April 26.

The Shocker Store offers regalia bundles for bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctorate degrees. Visit the RSC store or the “graduation” tab on the Shocker Store website for specific pricing and details.

The Shocker Store is headed to WSU West for a pop-up shop from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6.

The Shocker Store will be set up in the main lobby of WSU West so guests can shop for some great Shocker gear and enter to win some fabulous Shocker prizes.

No purchase necessary for prize giveaway. Credit and debit cards only. The next pop-up shop will be on April 24.

Visit the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes in March to try its Pizza of the Month, the Margherita.

It’s topped with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, parmesan cheese, chili flakes and oregano.

The Shocker Store’s “Spring Into Color Sale” has been extended through Tuesday, Feb. 27. All color wall T-shirts are just $8.99 in the Rhatigan Student Center store and through the online store.

Join the Rhatigan Student Center for its live music series, Monday Melodies. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, enjoy live music from the Tom Page Combo at the Starbucks Lounge in the Rhatigan Student Center.

The last Monday of every month, the RSC will host live music in the building.

The Shocker Store is taking regalia rental orders and custom academic regalia purchase orders from faculty and staff members who are planning on attending spring 2024 commencement.

Regalia rental orders are due by 4 p.m. Friday, April 5 and custom academic regalia purchase orders need to be placed by 4 p.m. Friday, March 1.

Graduating students, if you are a member of any of the listed groups below and would like to order the group’s corresponding graduation stole, pre-orders must be completed by March 15 on the Shocker Store website.

Groups included are Shocker Bowling, Japanese Culture Association, University Innovation Fellows, Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Sciences, BS in Nursing or SOSW (Student Organization of Social Work).

Faculty, it’s time to collect summer and fall 2024 textbook information. The adoption due date for summer courses is April 1 and fall is April 15.

Verba Collect is a simplified faculty experience including pre-populated course assignments, easy-to-adopt past adoptions and smart book search. Verba Collect will send out customized emails to faculty and department coordinators with a unique link that logs you into a walk-through process without any need for username or password. Once you get into Verba Collect, there are four short videos for your perusal showing how to get started, add materials and submit your adoptions. Keep an eye on your email inboxes for an email from Verba.

If you are interested in providing your course materials digitally through the Shocker Store’s “Access Now” program, where students will access them in Blackboard, select that option in the “Item Questions.” Should you choose to have your courses participate in the program and those courses cross list with another course. please order the same thing for both and note that on your order.

Those planning on using open resource materials can indicate that on their order as well and to flag the course as such and the information can be made available to students.
