Food For Fines poster with details on how to pay off unpaid parking citations since the month of November

The next Food For Fines will take place 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 2-4 at the Shocker Support Locker. During this time, students can donate food to pay off any unpaid parking citations up to $50 received after Nov. 5, 2021. Food for Fines is sponsored by the Student Government Association.

In collaboration with Student Health Services and Student Affairs, the Student Government Association (SGA) will sponsor a free flu shot clinic 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26-27 at the Rhatigan Student Center (Room 142). No registration is required. Shots are available while supplies last.

If you have a parking fine, you might be able to pay it off with food or supply donations to the Shocker Support Locker. Food For Fines and Supplies for Fines are initiatives to stock the Shocker Support Locker, while providing a cheaper opportunity to pay parking citations.

Wichita State’s Student Government Association will present the unity project to campus during Diversity Week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 13-17 at the Rhatigan Student Center east courtyard.

The Student Government Association (SGA) will host two events providing students coffee, donuts and Kona Ice leading up to the annual State of the Student Body address (SOTSB) Sept. 1 at the Rhatigan Student Center patio. The day of events include the following:

  • Free Donuts and Coffee with SGA 7:30-9:30 a.m.
  • Free Kona Ice Truck 3-4 p.m.
  • SOTSB Address 7-8 p.m.

The SOTSB will also include refreshments and end with a gathering for students to meet their student representatives and discover SGA’s role in the student body.
