The English Honors Society presents its annual Flannel Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 in 319 Rhatigan Student Center, McKay Room.

Wear flannels and join the event for crafts, cozy readings, treats, a raffle and fun. The event is come and go for all students at no additional charge.

Students are invited to come and go at the Humanities Conference taking place from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 5 in 264 Rhatigan Student Center, Spencer Room.

The conference will feature a taco bar, a conference FAQ workshop hosted by Dr. Katie Lanning and a student panel. The student panel will feature works by Fairmount College students Hannah Holliday, Gabrielle Ramirez, Delaney Jones, Dillon Cullinan and Katie Hemberger.

This event is sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, English Graduate Student Association, the Philosophy Society and the Linguistics Club.

Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society, is holding a bake sale from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9 on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center. There will be cookies, banana bread, vegan options and more items available.

Payments can be made with cash or card. Sigma Tau Delta invites the campus community to come support its mission to spread literacy in the community.

There are diverse experiences all around, some that people may never know exist. These invisible diversities are given a chance to shine at the Humanities Conference. Any topic under the theme “Lost Voices: Diversity in experience,” from any major or academic level, can be submitted.

The new deadline to submit is Friday, March 31.

Come one, come all to celebrate fall at Flannel Festival! Anyone can come and go to this free event from  11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 in the Rhatigan Student Center’s Harvest Room on the first floor.
